Course Description

AP French Language and Culture is a college-level course that allows students to develop and showcase their skills in French while exploring a wide range of Francophone cultural topics. The course emphasizes real-world communication and intercultural competence through the integration of authentic texts, audio, and visual materials. Students engage in interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational tasks that require critical thinking, language precision, and cultural awareness.

  • Interpersonal Communication: Engaging in spoken and written exchanges in culturally appropriate ways
  • Interpretive Communication: Understanding and analyzing written and audio materials from Francophone sources
