AP Psychology concludes with a traditional end-of-course exam administered by the College Board. Students are assessed on their knowledge of psychological concepts, their ability to apply theories, and their understanding of research methods. The exam includes:
-
Multiple-choice questions that test comprehension of key topics, terminology, and psychological perspectives.
-
Free-response questions that require students to apply psychological concepts to scenarios and demonstrate critical thinking.
These components are scored by the College Board and collectively make up 100% of the AP Psychology score.
