AP Spanish Language and Culture is a college-level course that allows students to develop and showcase their skills in Spanish while exploring cultural themes from across the Spanish-speaking world. The course emphasizes real-world communication and intercultural understanding through listening, speaking, reading, and writing tasks. Students engage with authentic materials such as articles, podcasts, conversations, and literary works, building their proficiency across personal, societal, and global contexts.

  • Interpersonal Communication: Participating in spoken and written exchanges in Spanish on a variety of everyday and cultural topics
  • Interpretive Communication: Understanding and analyzing written texts and audio materials from authentic Spanish-language sources
